Everybody is talking about lightweight equipment since Bomb Snow came up with some great solutions.
Obviously they are freeride folks, because, to be honest, the bubble wrap liner is weighing 20 grams. Thats about sixteen too many. I came up with a reduced version, that is not only lightweight but allowing for maximum flexibility:
And the binding presented works great with freeride boots. In skimo races on the other hand, everybody comes along with Dynafit bindings. No problem remains unsolved tonight:
Already mounted on a absolutely versatile ski, that can adapt to any circumstance on the slopes. In case you want to go high-speed in the downhills, another 40cm can be added to the mandatory 160cm in no time!
This ski and binding are the next big thing in ski mountaineering. Expect to see it on the ISMF White list soonest. As you can see the ski is compliant with the 60 (mm) under the binding rule!
